Travel Tips

  • Largest Nearby Intl’ Airport: Mumbai (BOM) — 3–4 hr drive from Pune/the wedding venue.

  • Alternative: Pune (PNQ) — ~1 hr drive, but limited connections (mainly via Asia or Delhi). Recommended only if flying from within Asia.

  • Flights:

    • Qatar Airways’ Friday 8 PM EST → Sunday 3 AM EST (approx.) is a convenient East Coast option that avoids taking Friday off work.

    • Only direct East Coast → India flights are on Air India (to Mumbai or Delhi). Planes are older — convenient but less comfortable, so not ideal for first-time travelers.

  • Arrival recommendation: Aim to land in Mumbai by Sunday, Oct 26 (or earlier).

    • If arriving Oct 27, head straight to the resort.

    • We’re helping with quite a bit of Bom/Pune transport.

  • Booking tip: Book flights ~6 months ahead or less for the best prices.
